Experience the cool vibe of downtown State College during our monthly First Friday events. A casual atmosphere features art, people-watching, mingling with friends, shopping, and dining at the diverse and delectable State College restaurants. First Friday goers will experience after-hours access to galleries and shops, free bites and beverages, live music, retail and restaurant specials, and more. Saunter by 3Dots Downtown on Friday August 5th during First Friday for a sneak preview of the first annual Central PA Kirtan Fest happening August 27th at the Boal Barn in Boalsburg. Kirtan is a time honored, universal live music meditation with roots in traditional Hindu culture. It is a call-and-response style of meditation that opens the heart and invites inner peace. The mantras are mystical, transcendental sounds that resonate with our chakras, removing negative energies and filling the soul with light and love. Come on by and get your Kirtan on!
