Inspiration for your Easter Downtown
Easter is 6 days away, why not spend the day in Downtown State College! We have all the inspiration you need for gifts, brunch, dinner and fun activities for the kids!
Let’s start with the most difficult part of Easter, gifts! Luckily for you, Growing Tree Toys is making Easter Baskets entirely for you! Head to the Growing Tree Toys website and they will make you a specialized basket, all they need is candy options, basket options, and a little information about the recipient, like favorite color, favorite animals, etc. Another great idea for children is The Makery is offering classes before Easter including Sewing 101 – Workshop for Kids, Youth Painting and Drawing, Mini Makers: Preschool Art Class, and some Open Studio times as well. Another great “homemade” gift is painting pottery at 2000 degrees for friends or family, but it takes 5-7 days for the pottery to be fired and given back.
Don’t forget with every gift you need a card! Nittany Quill has a wide variety of Easter cards for friends and family members, along with some small and easy basket fillers. For gifts more tailored for adults, check out Avant Garden’s selection of Easter flowers with colorful Easter eggs and a variety of flowers. Do you need inspiration for Easter dinner? Check out Kitchen Kaboodle’s Instagram page for inspiration along with all the pots and pans that you need for your project.
