For 117 years, McLanahan’s has been “doing the blue” in Downtown State College. While their location has changed several times and they’ve expanded, the quality of this State College staple has not changed.
Ray Agostinelli, the current owner of McLanahan’s, has been in State College since 1958 when he attended Penn State. After he graduated in 1961, he and his wife chose to stay in State College.
“We had fallen in love with State College and decided to stay in State College. This is our home.”
McLanahan’s prides itself in knowing what the customer needs and having it available.
Agostinelli believes in the power of local business.
