Pink Famous Creators, located at 108 W. Beaver Ave. Suite 201, recently opened their doors downtown, and owner Mariko Marshall is excited to build a content creator community within State College. 

Marshall began her journey learning the ins-and-outs of social media and content creation with her first startup; Pink Famous Clothing. Marshall has 11 years of entrepreneur experience through her clothing line, and a big part of her startup’s success she attributes to content marketing.

“When I first started Pink Famous, there was a big push to use social media to create branding,” stated Marshall. “I had to learn about content marketing when I first started my business 10 years ago.”

Because of her dedication to her first business, Marshall wants to share her experiences in content marketing and creating a brand. The inspiration for Pink Famous Creators came from Pink Famous Clothing. Marshall describes that social media, like Facebook, is pushing for more collaboration within brands that her business needed space to grow, as do many other businesses.

Marshall hopes that, throughout the State College community, she can build a community of creators in content and influencer marketing, production, and photography to build collaboration in businesses rather than competition.

 The inside of Pink Famous Creators is set up to be smaller areas with different styles; like their 80s room which has more of a retro vibe, to their boho room which is more botanical. One of Marshall’s favorite areas she has created is the grass wall, which she believes helps influencers bring a lot of creativity to the content they are creating while being very beautiful and bright.

Marshall is most excited for her customers to see the space itself. “The room right now is set up in one way, but I want customers to know that it can be changed,” explains Marshall. “I want people to also be able to see the raw space and give them the power to change and build creativity within the space”. 

Pink Famous Creators studio rates start as low as $25 per hour for content creation, interviews, photoshoots, videos, pop up shops, workshops, parties and other small events.
