Experience the cool vibe of downtown State College during our monthly First Friday events. A casual atmosphere features art, people-watching, mingling with friends, shopping, and dining at the diverse and delectable State College restaurants.
First Friday goers will experience after-hours access to galleries and shops, free bites and beverages, live music, retail and restaurant specials, and more. And there’s free parking in the Pugh, Fraser and Beaver garages with validations from participating merchants.

Yú Tà (also known as “Gyotaku”) Workshop
5-7pm

Learn the traditional Chinese art of creating prints from real fish. Transform fish forms into unique art pieces using special plant-fiber paper and paint. You will have the opportunity to create several of your own prints while mastering this technique.

No experience necessary. 6 years and up. All materials provided.

This screening of “752 IS NOT A NUMBER” will be prefaced with a short performance by Iranian students followed by a short clip show about the Iranian students’ feelings in these days.

Toronto dentist Hamed Esmaelion is determined to uncover the truth behind the missile attacks that downed Ukrainian Flight PS752 shortly after its takeoff from Tehran on January 8, 2020, killing all 176 on board, including Hamed’s wife and nine-year-old daughter.
