August First Friday: Nichola Gutgold, author of Just Like Me

We’re celebrating the publication of Nichola’s latest book and first mystery/thriller. Nichola will read from and sign copies of her book, Just Like You.
Nichola Gutgold is a professor of communication arts and sciences and an award winning author of eight books. She has been quoted in the NY Times, US News and World Report, NPR, Los Angeles Times, The Guardian, and San Francisco Chronicle for her research on women and the United States presidency. A sought after speaker, some of her books include: The Rhetoric of Supreme Court Women: From Obstacles to Options and Gender and The American Presidency: Nine Presidential Women and the Barriers They Faced. Dr. Gutgold earned her Ph.D. in speech communication from Penn State, her M.A. in speech communication from Bloomsburg University, and graduated at age 20 from King’s College where she earned a double major in mass communications and English.
She encourages everyone to “Speak up and speak well!” and does so herself whenever she can.
