Join us during Downtown State College’s April First Friday for the last MAKE/STUFF workshop led by Penn State School of Visual Arts Art Education graduate students! Plan, construct, illuminate, and animate your designs. Come and MAKE with us!
During the workshop view the exhibition “Tiny Acts Topple Empires,” a group exhibition exploring the multitude of ways contemporary art can challenge the status quo and enact incremental change in our culture. From a national open call, curator Heather Darcy Bhandari selected works by thirty-five artists that engage in various forms of rebellion from revealing frequently invisible subjects to operating through direct acts of intervention.
