State College NAACP proudly announces the 2023 Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth is an important day in American History as it marks when the last group of enslaved African Americans were notified of their freedom in 1865. This is State College’s fourth year of commemoration and we will host a FREE BLOCK PARTY.
The State College NAACP, the Borough of State College, the Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State, and The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau are proud partners and look forward to creating a vibrant and inclusive community.
