Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra Presents “Resilience”

Experience new music and a familiar favorite during The Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra’s second season concert “Resilience” on Sunday, January 29 at 3 pm at the Penn State Recital Hall. Maestro Attar presents a piece originally commissioned by him for the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra and re-imagined for the PCO by composer Jonathan Leshnoff. PCO’s principal cellist, Jonathan Dexter, then steps into the soloist role for the United States premiere of Fazil Say’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra “Never Give Up”. Beethoven’s much beloved Symphony No 1 closes out the concert on an exuberant note.
