SCASD “Create For A Cause” First Friday Event

Please join the State College Area High School National Art Honor Society for a First Friday event on April 6 from 5:00-7:00 to ‘Create for a Cause’. The NAHS students are preparing multiple art stations in which participants can make, play and experiment with a variety of mediums: painting, clay, origami, jewelry-making and more. There will also be face painting, snacks and a caricature artist! The cost is $10 per child. All proceeds will go towards the SCASD NAHS and Centre County PAWS. Centre County PAWS was established in 1980. For almost 40 years we have been committed to finding forever homes for cats and dogs, educating citizens on responsible pet ownership, providing spay / neuter assistance, and ending pet overpopulation. They are a non-euthanasia, member-supported, volunteer-enabled organization dedicated to the Promotion of Animal Welfare and Safety.
