Please join us, Saturday June 15th for State College’s 5th Annual Juneteenth Block Party from 12pm to 6pm at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza and on Fraser Street.

This event honors the importance of June 19th, 1865 in American History which marks when the last enslaved African Americans in the rebelling states were notified that the Emancipation Proclamation would be enforced, announcing their legal freedom.

State College has honored this day for the last five years and will continue to do so! We invite you to join in and enjoy the food, art, music, performances and many activities for you and your family can engage in.

We hope to see you there!
