State College, PA – A family friendly Leprechaun Scavenger Hunt will take place in downtown State College on Friday, March 4 from 5pm – 8:30pm.

The First Friday “Blarney Booth” at the Corner of Allen Street and Beaver Avenue is the starting point where kids get a clue card and empty plastic pot-for-gold.  Follow the clues to find the Leprechaun in numerous participating businesses and you will find the “gold”!  Once you find ten “gold” chocolate coins stop back at the Blarney Booth for a Cookie courtesy of Insomnia Cookies and enter for a chance to win a $25, $50 or $75 Downtown Gift Card courtesy of Beck Psychotherapy.

While downtown, take advantage of the many activities, live entertainment and First Friday specials.  Richard Benninghoff will be roaming the streets and providing close up magic for your entertainment.  Enjoy a free ride on the Lion Chariot, courtesy of the Downtown Improvement District.  Attend a gallery reception at Webster’s Bookstore Café for John Vickers Jones, and Common Place will be hosting Andrew Spielvogel. As always, wear your First Friday button and receive 10% off your entire purchase at participating merchants.
