Over 300 Yarn Flowers Created by Community for New Mural

A community project led by the Downtown Improvement District has been installed as a mural. The projected involved collecting knitted yarn flowers and using them to create a mural.

The installation can be found near the corner of Allen St. and Beaver Ave., by the CATA bus stop.

Thank you to the dozens (if not hundreds) of people who made a flower! We ended up with more than 300 total flowers. Thank you to the Schlow Needlework Group and a few others for helping with assembly! Thank you to Schlow Library for partnering with us on this (especially Maria and her family)!
