We are glad to have Steve Torok to display his art works “Everything and Anything” in the Downtown State College Improvement District (DSCID) office through November to December.

The exhibition includes acrylic paintings on canvas of a variety of subject matter and styles.

“If I can see it, I can paint it.” This is Torok’s slogan, specifically explaining his art inspirations and theme. “There is no deep, internal meanings or messages in my work.” as Torok said, “it’s just art for the fun of it and for the pleasure of people viewing it.”

Ever since “art time” in kindergarten, Torok has always had an interest in art. The interest grew as he took art classes in elementary, high school, and college. Everyday scenes and common objects are what catches his eyes when it comes to “that would make a neat painting”.

Visit the DSCID office during November 4th First Friday event from 5-8pm for opening reception for Steve’s work. Refreshments will be served.
