Well known for its delectably rich flavors and endless spices, Indian food is popular in downtown State College for a reason. But no two Indian restaurants are the same, and Delhi Junction is here to prove that with their brand new opening on 128 Locust Lane.

Owner Resham Dadra recollects State College as his “… hometown, where I grew up with my family, surrounded by its diverse cultural activities.” It was the driving force that led him to choose downtown State College as the new home of Delhi Junction, and he’s excited to bring his family legacy to the public.

Resham Dadra learned from the best, as his cooking passion stems from his dad’s experience in the industry. “… having worked alongside him for more than 5 years, I developed a profound passion for the art of cooking and hospitality. Inspired by his dedication and expertise, I aspired to carry forward his legacy and take a step further in the industry by opening my own restaurant.” Lucky for us, Resham Dadra’s dreams will soon come to fruition.

Delhi Junction will focus on its widely diverse downtown State College audience for its menu, planning to offer yummy Indian cuisine prepared with a local flair. “Our dishes will reflect the vibrant and diverse culinary landscape of India, but with a twist that resonates with the people of State College,” explains Dadra, who also described his big plans for “ready-to-go meals for those on the move.”

The incredible assortment of State College’s different food offerings makes our town unique, and we can’t wait for Delhi Junction to become a favorite on our roster of delectable Indian cuisine in downtown State College. They’ll be opening their doors April 22nd, feeding the community one spicy, savory spoon at a time.
