Skating his way into State College, owner Jake Johnson recently opened a new skate shop downtown in the former spot of Sadie’s Gourmet Waffles.
Located at 118 S. Pugh Street, IQ Skate Shop sells skateboards, clothes, wheels and other skating accessories. This shop also offers a unique experience by offering a studio to edit skating videos.
Growing up in State College, Johnson wants to bring the skating experience he never got to the State College community. He wants to give local skaters and kids the opportunity to have a place to hang out and learn more about skating.
