Light Up Downtown Holiday Light Show – MLK Plaza on Fraser Street from 5-10pm daily until January 2 with a new show for First Night!
December First Friday – December 2, 5-8pm – enjoy Photos with Santa on the MLK Plaza, Hot cocoa & popcorn, free trolley rides, carolers and more downtown events at participating businesses!
Limited Edition Collectable Ornament – This years design features The Tavern Restaurant in honor of Pat Daugherty, long time Tavern owner and friend of downtown State College. Pick up yours at 16 participating businesses throughout the holiday season!
Free Downtown Trolley Rides – Bring the kids and enjoy a free tour through downtown! Pick up and drop off at MLK Plaza during the following dates and times: Friday, December 2 (First Friday) 5-8pm | Saturday, December 3, 11am-2pm | Friday, December 9, 5-8pm | Saturday, December 10, 11am-2pm.
Free Park & Ride Program – Enjoy free parking beginning November 28: 2 hours free in the borough garages (Pugh, Beaver, Fraser) and free meter and lot parking from 5-10pm. Pick up free CATA bus tokens at our office at 127 S Fraser Street – one token per person, per visit as supplies last. From December 23-January 2 enjoy unlimited free parking in garages, streets and lots.
Downtown Gift Cards – The perfect gift for anyone on your shopping list…accepted at over 100 businesses and sold online for local pick up or delivery. Purchase in person at our office at 127 S Fraser Street, M-F, 9am-5pm.
