The Downtown State College Improvement District is excited to welcome Poke Fresh! Located on East Calder Way, this new spot is bringing authentic flavors of Hawaiian poke to Downtown. The storefront features a variety of signature poke bowls as well as countless custom combinations for those who’d like to create their own. Owners Lesley Tan and Dacheng Wu hope to not only bring new flavors and unique cuisine to Downtown State College, but also to offer a healthy dining option for residents and visitors, alike.

“I’d recommend our poke fresh special bowl or the land sea fresh bowl. The vegan fresh bowl is also a good option without fish. It has our vegan chicken; I’ve never seen it anywhere else,” Wu said.

But Poke Fresh offers far more than just fish. Other menu staples include a variety of sparkling mojitos and signature fruit and bubble milk teas which are sourced directly from China. They also offer their authentic Hong Kong-style egg waffle in a variety of flavors, complete with ice cream, toppings and syrups.

Wu says their goal is to bring health and delicious food to the downtown community, which has already welcomed the new business with open arms.

Poke Fresh is located at 328 East Calder Way and is open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and 11 a.m.-9:30pm on Sunday.
