A downtown favorite among students and locals alike, Connections Clothing hits the mark yet again with the introduction of the “Boys Lie” collection into the boutique. The collection, a Pennsylvania-born brand that has recently garnered national recognition and a hefty following, features a variety of edgy designs on t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, hats, and more.

“The first shipment that we got during spring break, we sold out,” said boutique owner Theresa Ritzman.

Connections is the go-to spot for formal dresses, trendy clothing and accessories. The addition of the “Boys Lie” collection is the latest update to the boutique’s variety of name-brand offerings including Free People and Just Black Denim. The storefront is home to the hottest trends in fashion at affordable prices.

The boutique has been open since 1996 and was recently taken over by Riztman, who has worked there for 9 years, in November of 2019. Her many years of experience have allowed her to hone in on what resonates with Penn State students and the State College community.

“You need to know what is happening around town and on campus. You need to plan your buying around these events and know the type of clothes people will be looking to buy for these events,” said Ritzman.

Located at 130 S Allen Street, Connections is open Monday-Friday from 10am-8pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 12pm-5pm. Visit their Instagram, Facebook, or website for more information.
