After an extensive eight month remodel, The Tavern Restaurant is now open!
With improved seating, an outdoor lounge, and an updated menu, these are only some of the few upgrades added to the restaurant.
Their goal is to keep the historical aspect of the restaurant which dates back to 1890 while giving the restaurant a more modernized feel. As stated on their website, “Whether you want to enjoy a Penn State game with your friends, sip on a cocktail with a view of Old Main, or dine on the finest food in State College, The Tavern will be your destination.”
Come down and try their Tuscan Shrimp Scampi, Osso Bucco, or Roasted Vegetable Salad!
